Hopefully if you're in Hong Kong, you had a chance to go check out the DETOUR 2009 Exhibition last week! But if not, here's a little peek at the room I designed for the show. Our theme this year was "Be Anti-Crisis!" I entitled my room The Bright Side.

Oops - should have posted these awhile back, but thanks to Jet Magazine and CUP Magazine for featuring the Tangled show in their October 09 and November 09 issues, respectively.
The show is officially over, however if you're in the neighborhood and missed the exhibition, there are still a few pieces on display at La Belle Salon on Glenealy.

Whitespace has launched the wicked-looking portfolio sector of the You Are Here show on their site. Check out the art pieces and bios of the 80+ artists involved here: www.whitespace.hk/youarehere
Here's a few pics from the opening reception for You Are Here, also part of the DETOUR 2009 Exhibition at the Former Police Married Quarters. The show features work from 60+ artists and designers from Hong Kong, including textile designer and illustrator Kate Barnett, illustrator Mimi Leung, graffiti artist L1ES ONE, graffiti artists GraphicAirlines, illustrator Sum-Sum Tse, and many more.
Thanks to Danielle of Whitespace for organizing this great event (and for the pics!)
Check out www.whitespace.hk for more information on the show and the artists involved.
Will try to post an image of my final piece soon too.

You only have 3 more days to go! DETOUR 2009 - Art & Design Exhibition at the Former Police Married Quarters, Aberdeen Street & Hollywood Road in Central, Hong Kong. Hours daily from 9:00AM-6:30PM.
DETOUR 2009 is not only a rare opportunity to peek into one of Hong Kong's historical buildings, but a great chance to check out what's going on in the art & design scene in the city.
Here's a sneak peek of the whole exhibition and of the room I created for the show.
Last day is Wednesday, December 9. If you haven't been yet, go now!
I'll have some work on display at Spicy Imperial in The White Hotel in Brussels, Belgium - part of the Brussels sector of Designr.rdv
For any Belgian readers, hope you'll have a chance to stop by next weekend, 11-13 December, 2009 (see hours above). There will be over 60 designers and brands from around Europe featured, as well as a representation of work from artists, designers, and brands from Hong Kong.
