ArtHK12 Week is upon us! And I'm taking part in The Gift Shop, part of Chai Wan Mei, an Open Studio event and introduction to the creative hidden community in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. The Gift Shop is sponsored by Tangram, a design studio run by fashion designer Paola Sinisterra and architect and graphic designer Ignacio Garcia. Tangram focuses on creating contemporary women's clothing and accessories.
The studio will be transformed into a concept pop-up shop for one day, showcasing a selection of products by Hong Kong-based designers and curated by Tangram.
Designers and brands:
Hill (menswear), The Yesterday Skin (womenswear), Moustache (men's accessories), Square Street (accessories), Peony Rice (women's accessories), Barnett (jewelry), Kung Fu Kicks (shoes), HK Honey (honey), Latitude (ceramics), Emilie Sarnel (illustration), Emily Eldridge (illustration), With Her Animal Poetry (paper products), Creative City (guides), Whitespace (tote bags), Greyscale (tote bags), Fashionary (stationary), Wandering Dolls (publication), Josh Thompson (records), and of course, Tangram!
The Gift Shop will be open only on May 19 between 11am and 8pm.
Unfortunately we won't be able to accept credit cards on that day, so we kindly ask our customers to make their payments in cash or cheque.
