TGIF! - A New Group Exhibition

(Thank God It's Friday)

TGIF! At the end of a long workweek, this catchphrase is more than a sigh of relief or a welcome greeting to the weekend.  There's something significant about the life that's lived outside of office hours - a time symbolic for reasons beyond pure relaxation.  In the space between an evening commute and a Monday morning meeting, how is one's time spent?  Do hobbies and other personal pursuits shed light on the mask behind the office persona?

Join us as Hong Kong-based artists Cath Love, Emilie Sarnel, Emily Eldridge, Ronan Leung, and Jimmy Ming Shum explore the concept of life outside of work.  Through photography, illustration, and painting, TGIF! investigates the world of the inner self.

Please join us for the opening reception of TGIF! on Friday, 25 May, 2012 from 6:30-9:30PM at BOOM Gallery, 48 Sai Street, Central, Hong Kong.  Exhibition runs through 25 June 2012.  Gallery hours from 12:00-20:00 Monday - Sunday.
